Tocchet on bouncing back after Miller trade and loss: “I think with this team, the couple of years that I’ve been here, we don’t go through these long losing streaks because guys have done a nice job of blocking out distraction. We’ve been a little inconsistent this year, but I have to give the guys credit. They can focus, and hopefully, we can move on and focus even stronger.”

Tocchet on the Miller trade: “Well, it’s a business. That’s the way it is. When you’re in this business long enough, there are going to be things like that. I thought the guys handled it well.”

“I love Millsey,” Tocchet added. “He’s played his ass off for me. There are things that happen behind the scenes, and they just happen. Sure, you get emotional. He was a hell of a player for us.”
